About me and my practice
Firstly, you can expect a quiet, safe and secure environment. Everything you say or do will be treated in the strictest confidence.
As a person-centred counsellor, I work in the here and now: therell be no reports made, no historical analysis, no judgements, no criticisms and no formality. I'm non-pathologising. This is a place where you can relax and be yourself and have no fear of contradiction. As your confidant, Ill be totally supportive. Ill be an ally: a person totally on your side. Someone to be trusted: a person fully committed to your needs and your needs alone. Ill see and understand everything from your perspective. Well do things your way. As a person-centred counsellor, its my job to understand you completely and to help you on your journey of self-exploration. Move away from things you ought to do and other people's expectations. Take a powerful journey towards your full potential. Find your essence. Be your personal best. Discover solutions unique to you and embrace your own, authentic self.
No arguments.
It'll be like a breath of fresh air.
Experience
I've lived and worked all over our planet: in London, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Bath, Sint Maarten, Bermuda, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Hong Kong, the Outer Hebrides and Harare.
I've also spent many years living at sea in a small boat sailing between Africa, New York, the Caribbean and Venezuela. I've crossed the Atlantic Ocean more than a dozen times.
What does this mean for you?
It means I've seen an awful lot of stuff. I can take anything you can throw at me.
And right now I'm here to help you in whatever way you want. Really.
